Gravel riding

This circular route from the Cambrils train station is ideal for a morning, or full day, of enjoyment, pedaling and gastronomy. The route escapes main roads and passes through charming towns such as Riudoms, Montbrió del Camp or Riudecanyes, each perfect for a gastronomic stop.

The sporting highlight is the ascent to Castell d'Escolnarbou, a medieval stronghold among the hills covered by the Mediterranean forest of pines and oaks. To link the modernity of the coast with the traditions of the castle, you pedal along a beautiful network of gravel and asphalt tracks that cross a tapestry of orchards of all kinds.

We recommend doing this outing on sunny days from autumn to spring. Winter in this area is very mild and pleasant to ride quietly. Although the Route is not very long, it is preferable that you bring some spare parts, tools and snacks to help you out of any unforeseen event.

To finish, you can make a reservation at one of the restaurants on the Cambrils promenade and treat yourself to a gastronomic treat before returning home. What better ending to this adventure!
