The scenery is very beautiful, but I haven't figured out exactly what's supposed to be "difficult" about it. Next time, I'd avoid the really steep pushing section on the roughest gravel after leaving Ettal with a simple descent on the road. Otherwise, the tour is very easy and beautiful.
