The Cloef path along the Saarschleife is simply a really beautiful hiking trail with a great view.
We walked anti-clockwise and started at the ferry house, so you have the incline right at the beginning. Is very pleasant to walk from there. Of course, it was fuller on the treetop path. When it's cold outside, be sure to bring a hat. It pulls! From there down the Cloef path is currently wg. Storm damage blocked (but not so signposted above). If you like adventure and climb a bit, you will find a way "through" the fallen trees. Absolute recommendation!
Orscholz Dream Loop Cloepfad. Wonderful paths, trails, and forests in the beautiful Saarbrücken area with the famous Saar Loop. Surefootedness, a clear head, and safe walking are a prerequisite for this hiking trail. Countless stairs, nature, and wonderful views are the reward. Fantastic. The parking lot directly in front of the atrium at the start is large and easily accessible.
Today we went another round before we check into the hotel. Unfortunately, it was very foggy so that we had no foresight. For hiking 🥾 🥾but a nice path that we will definitely go again with a clear view.
This dream loop from the hiking institute really deserves the 93 experience points. The ascent to the Cloef is tough, but the exertion was probably due to the humid weather, otherwise the switchbacks are really easy to walk. The path through the Steinbachtal is fantastic. I would like to spend the night in one of the tree houses down by the Saar. Well, and the view down onto the Saarschleife is fantastic. If you've never been on the treetop path, you can put it at the beginning or end of the tour and then have a beer and a snack in the Cloef Atrium. After the wheat I just made it dry into the car, then the Saarland was engulfed in lightning, thunder and lots and lots of rain. It was nice 😍
Two-hour hike from the imposing view of the Saar loop down to the banks of the Saar and up again. Almost exclusively forest paths. Surefootedness is required in any case!
Today we walked the Cloefpfad and we were really excited. We didn't even know that this path was so great. Well..... I've been to the Cloef many times, but never walked the path. We were also pretty lucky with the weather. Even the sun 🌞 came out. So he is really recommended. And now totally impressive through all the water. The falls were quite big. Actually scary, but still great. 🤗
