This route was planned by komoot.
4 years ago we were already at the Hohe Wand... we definitely wanted to go there again... today we set off in the most beautiful sunshine. We drove up to the Skywalk by car. This time without a toll but with an entrance fee... the drive to the Skywalk is sensational... like in the "real" Alps... and a magnificent view of the Schneeberg. After a short detour to the Skywalk, we went on a round tour over the nature center. Over hill and dale it went... steep in places, plenty of snow and slush still. In between, we met a Czech female hiker with a prosthesis... she was so happy to meet Thomas in particular... We chatted for a while as best we could... the wind was still powerfully fresh up there, but the view was magnificent. To finish, we had a little refreshment at the Skywalk-Cafe. Moderate prices and super nice service. Many climbers are out and about at the Hohe Wand... via ferratas are marked. Another beautiful tour...
The circular route 231 is highly recommended 🥾🦌🌸 Happy Easter 🐇🐣🐔
On circular hiking trail 2 on the Hohe Wand in the afternoon. Afterwards we briefly looked at the new “Asagan Treasure Round” until it got dark. Definitely a great tip with children.
After a long time, go higher again, a hike on the Hohe Wand. There was everything that belongs to a hike but also what you don't need. The weather at the beginning was ideal about 24 ° the route was not too demanding. Lunch at Luf excellent and very cheap. There were no problems up to the skywalk. Then it slowly began to trickle and soon to rain the rain got heavier and heavier and that especially with a difficult uphill ride. After about 40 minutes it was all over, including the uphill section, and when we were back at the car the sun was shining again. It was still a nice hike but the best part was my knee didn't cause any problems 👍
