Listen to the birdsong and enjoy the scent of the pristine and at times enchanted forest. The route along the natural paths is strenuous in sections, but it is precisely this exertion that has a soothing effect on the spirit. The Delliehausen Local History Society maintains the old tradition by operating a real charcoal kiln and provides information about the charcoal burning craft with information boards.

Rest and rest areas invite you to take a break below the charcoal burner's hut at the water treading pool with a barefoot path and above the sand pit. Finally, not far from the parking lot, you can relax at the mountain lake, which was formed from an old lignite mine. Today, it is a natural monument and has since developed into an ecologically valuable habitat for plants and animals.
