Beautiful views of the Rhine, the vineyards and the Marksburg. Interesting with the information about the Roman aqueducts, which can also be visited underground. Very easy to walk with mostly very well developed farm roads. Here, based on the term “dream paths”, I would have wished for significantly more natural, small paths. Fortunately, there were delicious blackberry hedges along the ridge on the forest highway 😋 It would have been great if the Benediktiner Alm had been open. Great view of the Rhine from there 👍
Today's tour was ok, but also quite unspectacular 😏 I had imagined something different under a premium hiking trail. 😞 Hook it up and look forward to the next tour.
Today I explored a "dream path" again. The name raises expectations, but in the end I somehow missed such a really spectacular highlight. Nevertheless, it is a really nice round, quite varied with a great view of the Rhine loop and again and again of the Marksburg. And with the fantastic weather, what more could you ask for? Well, maybe water in the Rhine. As you can see, it's getting tight. The tour is definitely recommended. Hiking on Easter Monday, Traumpfad Rheingoldbogen Brey
A great tour! Forest, vineyards and meadows. The first part of the hike leads uphill and downhill through the forest, then the path leads above the Rhine through the vineyards. You have a wonderful view of the Rhine. The last part of the path leads through fields, meadows and forest. Varied with a beautiful view.
Beautiful round from Brey on easy to walk paths through autumn forests, beautiful paths down from the Jakobsberg and then wonderfully back through the glowing vineyards .. finally it got dark quickly and a violent thunderstorm came up, got wet again. But all in all a beautiful dream path 🙂
Hello people, the Rheinbogenrunde is really recommendable, unfortunately my cell phone went dead 2 km before the end and therefore a few pictures are missing.
Loop starting from the village of Brey. Free parking: Ackerweg. A magnificent hike, especially in autumn. Point of interest: Roman aqueduct. Oak woods, vineyard path along the Rhine.
