The meadow orchard path looks different in every season: in spring the trees compete to bloom, in summer the fruit hangs heavily on the branches and in autumn the leaves shine in beautiful colors. Exciting experience stations for young and old round off the dream path. From the car park at the Dalfter sports field you walk to the barbecue hut and the Kettig fruit garden. The first fantastic views of the Rhine Valley open up to you.
You follow the dream path through the forest down to the Kettiger Bach. From its idyllic valley you hike past orchards up to a hill that gives you a panoramic view of the Volcanic Eifel. An insect hotel, a relaxation swing and a dendrophone await you along the path. The way back to the starting point leads past a small chapel and the viewing platform at the Carl-Heinrich-Grube.

The Streuobstwiesenweg near Mühlheim-Kärlich is a very popular dream path and the classic in spring. Unfortunately, not so sunny today ☀️ and the blossoms are almost fading, but 18 cheerful hikers from the Eifelverein Münstermaifeld still enjoyed the white splendor of the blossoms, sometimes with a little pink... and the panoramic view to the Rhine valley and the opposite Rhine heights.
A beautiful spring hike, past lushly blossoming fruit trees🌸, mostly church trees. The apple trees should be ready next week, too. Unfortunately, the temperatures are supposed to drop again. Let's hope the apple trees don't get a sniff❄️. A hiking trail with occasional slight uphill sections, but everything remains very relaxed 🥾 Simply beautiful 😍
Today was my third attempt to admire the trail with its blossoming trees. Like last year, it remained an attempt 🙈😅 Always a week or two early. But still beautiful. Unexpected sunshine ☀️, but the wind felt icy 🥶 See you next year, but not until mid-April 😅

Nice recommended tour. Many paths were washed out due to the heavy rain of the last 2 days and had deep furrows, so the right shoes were important, otherwise the whole thing has sandal potential.
The orchard path in Mülheim Kärlich is pleasant to walk 🚶♂️ 🚶♂️ It took us 3 hours because I'm constantly taking pictures.
The absolutely perfect dream path at this time of year. Everything is blooming, including the trees (cherries,...), the butterflies, bees and Co. come out, the paths have a very large proportion of paths. All this in combination creates a dreamlike atmosphere. A fruit trail, a kind of willow exhibition, a sweet farm shop, a variety of resting places (various benches) and many other small highlights accompany you on the 9 km path. There was quite a lot going on, but that's also clear to me, with this beautiful dream path at the perfect time of year and the bombastic weather. Parking was plentiful. Absolutely doable with kids.
