This dream trail takes you through beautiful heaths, along clear streams and through quiet forests. If you can't get enough of the special heaths, then combine this round with the nearby Wacholderweg dream trail. Starting from the car park of the Arft winter sports facility, you walk to the Heidbüchel juniper heath. Gnarled pines and typical sand and heath vegetation line the path.
On the descent towards Netterhöfe you can turn off to the Wacholderweg dream trail. Otherwise you head into the Nettetal and then into the gorge-like Selbachtal. A little later you reach a hill with a great view and a shelter before you reach the Dr. Heinrich Menke Park, another dreamy heath. Past the Konrad Adenauer memorial, you go up to the Raßberg and from there back to the starting point.

The route is beautiful, the weather was a dream, the Eifel gold was in full bloom, there were hardly any people around.... We were also lucky when crossing the Nette - we were "taken along" on the other side (see the photos)😂. Thanks again to the nice quad driver 🙏😍 The stepping stones for crossing the Nette were flooded (high water level) and it was almost impossible to walk on it.🤷 The alternative route was very poorly signposted, by the way!
This dream path is balm for the soul 🥰 I didn't know the eastern half of the route. Again very varied!!!
Actually, we wanted to run another tour "Waldseepfad Rieden", but the further we got after the Nürburgring, the more foggy it got. So we spontaneously rescheduled and went back up the mountain. We were spoiled with sunshine and a bit of fog. The route was nice, but not so easy to walk today because of the wet and partly very slippery paths. At one point we had to cross a stream and the stones were a bit frozen. We were almost able to photograph a fog bow, which unfortunately wasn't quite as nice to see as on the West Wall tour.
One of the most beautiful dream trails I have ever done, very varied, well signposted and not very busy. The only drawback: the noise from the Nürburgring is a constant companion.
Beautiful tour with varied paths. At times you can't hear anything except nature.
Impressively beautiful, not too difficult circular route. Varied design, therefore highly recommended
A relaxed hike through the mountain heath. The path leads past rustic juniper bushes and gnarled trees 🌳. There are great wide views of the surrounding landscape. Not a spectacular tour but nice to clear your head and chat with your girlfriend or boyfriend ....
