This extraordinary mountain bike tour takes you from the vineyards of the Wachau with magnificent views to the peaks of the Southern Waldviertel. You cycle on forest and forestry paths, over fun single trails and racy downhills. Every mountain biker's heart beats faster - because there is little flat here!

The starting point of your tour is the car park in Mühldorf. You don't have much time to warm up your muscles and pedal hard up the Bärenwände with a gradient of around 12%. Once you reach the top, you are rewarded with the sensational view and the anticipation of the rapid downhill that brings you almost back to Mühldorf.

Now you pedal up three consecutive climbs on forest highways and trails - of course, you whiz down the descents in between. The consistently steep forest path up to the Jauerling is your last climb today. It takes you up a steep climb to almost 940 meters. Enjoy the last downhill on narrow trails through the forest before it spits you out again in Mühldorf.
