Then stop at Forsthaus Adlgass. Highly recommended 🍻
Today, in not so sunny weather, we went up from Adlgaß to Frillensee. A great tour for the soul, walked the entire circuit without any tourists. Enjoyed the spirit of the forest to the full. A beautiful tour despite the fog that was getting thicker and thicker. My Lilli really enjoyed it, the sniffing menu was full 😅
Long weekend in Ruhpolding. Today, a stroll to and around Lake Frillensee... 😎🌞☺️
The path to the Frillensee is ideal in the heat, as it goes entirely through the forest. I was after 6 o'clock, sleeveless, almost a bit cold. Had the lake, the coldest in Central Europe, to myself for the first time. Only later did the others come.
A very varied hike, ideal for children, from the age of 5
After the descent on foot from the Rauschberg was rejected for safety reasons due to increasing fog, this was a small substitute hike. The Frillensee was the birthplace of German speed skating in 1959. Championships were held there for a few years and national and international teams trained here until an artificial ice rink was built in Inzell in the 1960s. Since then Inzell has been the center of speed skating.
Take care of our earth. Be tender and loving to it. (Hildegard von Bingen) A beautiful hike through the forest to Frillensee. It is the coldest lake in Central Europe and not a swimming lake. Located in the Chiemgau Alps at the foot of the Zwiesel. Afterwards, we went with a komoot friend to the Forsthaus Adlgass, which has a large beer garden.
