The Three Vineyards circular trail takes you right through the picturesque wine-growing idyll of southern Burgenland. You hike through three of the most beautiful vineyards: Eisenberg, Deutsch Schützener Berg and Csaterberg. Each of these places has its own special charm. On the Eisenberg you can enjoy the sunset with a glass of Blaufränkisch. The view stretches far into Hungary and the setting sun bathes the hills in a warm light.
Deutsch Schützen impresses with its long history. The Romans already grew wine here. The route continues to Csaterberg, where an idyllic cellar lane with romantic cellar houses awaits you. The vineyards here are surrounded by dense forests and blend harmoniously into the landscape.
Along the way, cozy wine taverns and inns await you. The perfect place for a rest. Try the region's wines and enjoy the southern Burgenland hospitality. Back at the starting point, in the wine town of Deutsch Schützen, the award-winning restaurant Ratschen invites you to have a final refreshment. Here you can end the day with first-class cuisine and a glass of wine.
