The cycle path from Pfalzpaint to Gungolding is beautiful. On one side you have the Altmühl river, and on the other side a lovely view of the rocks and juniper heath. Cycle and see for yourself.

Hello everyone, thank you for the tour tip. I was able to drive the route today.

Very nice tour with many highlights from the Altmühltal.

However, I noticed that the section of the route from Enkering around Schellenberg towards Kinding is on the main road. The signposted cycle

September 4, 2022, 🚵🚣Schön war's| Anlautertal und Altmühltal🛶🍦

Drinking coffee in the morning, we quickly decided to go to the Altmühltal. The tour went by a wonderful day with a nice ☁️ game . Up and down and at ideal temperatures with beautiful experiences from the different landscapes. Perfect bike signs with good road surface. There are enough benches and tables along the route for picnics. Finally 🍨 Ice cream parlor Gelati del Vicolo in Herzoggasse 3 in Eichstätt. A dream. Was a really nice route.

Today we went to Eichestätt again for our 2nd tour recommended by the "Altmühl Nature Park" https://www.naturpark-altmuehltal.de/routen/9_ins_anlautertal_und_altmuehl-3218/ Contrary to the weather report, we unfortunately also got a bit of rain 🌧. But once again a great tour with a multi-faceted landscape made up for it. Since the Hofmühl folk festival half marathon took place today, there were a few detours through small alleys and oh... yay 😂 past the 🍦🍦 ice cream parlor "Gelati del vicolo" in Herzoggasse. Super good 🍦 To finish

Today we took advantage of the last beautiful day to keep our e-bikes busy. It started in Eichstätt on the market square and then almost 3 kilometers up a steep hill. Even in the turbo you get quite a bit of a wheeze. But once you get to the top, the expanse and the beautiful view make all the effort worth it. We continued to Titting on the Anlautertal cycle path to Enkering and then advanced into Altmühltal and on the Altmühltal cycle path along the Altmühl and further on the Tauber-Altmühl cycle path towards Eichstätt. Fantastic landscape, beautiful, largely newly paved bike paths and super easy to ride. Towards the end, more and more dark clouds gathered in the sky and we just made it home in the car before the heavy rain began.

Today we first headed downstream along the Altmühl to Kinding. Shortly after Kinding, we then cycled through the tranquil Anlauter Valley to Titting. https://www.naturpark-altmuehltal.de/radfahren/radwege/anlautertal-radweg-200/ The Anlauter Valley Cycle Path is a strenuous but exciting tour: stops include the Roman town of Weißenburg, the romantic Anlauter Valley, and the bike-friendly town of Kinding. After an overwhelming cultural experience at the starting point and a steep climb, you'll be whisked away into magnificent scenery: vast plateaus of the Jura Alb and dreamy corners along the picturesque Anlauter River. Enjoy the tour into nature. In Enkering, we stopped for a small picnic 🧺 at a small rest area where we could cool our feet in the cool Anlauter River. The route continued gently uphill to Titting, sometimes shady, sometimes sunny 🌞, but there was always a refreshing breeze. In Titting, the climb was steep, climbing about 💯 meters. We were able to recover on the plateau. We then returned to Eichstätt via Pollenfeld. We fortified ourselves after the beautiful tour at the Restaurant/Cafe zum Paradies and then continued on, feeling refreshed, back to the RV parking space.

Today again refilled and gen SW after Eichstätt started.

Very nice tour...very quiet, partially open...ideal when it's not too hot....

Translated by Google

very nice tour through the Altmühltal and then through the Anlautertal; the ascent directly to Emsing out of the valley is much too steep for "normal" cyclists; I pushed and sweated :-)
