For the cross-country tour we recommend a trekking bike or mountain bike, because the main stage of the Schweinfurt region usually leads away from the concrete and asphalted bike paths. You will be rewarded with wide panoramic views for the partly conditionally demanding climbs. The starting point of this round…

First test tour for our eMTBs, just under 50km. Lots of paved forest trails and a few meters of elevation gain in the Steigerwald forest, just under 2:30 hours, so there's still room for improvement for the next tours. Special tip: At kilometer 2.5, there's a Franconian wine vending machine, selling screw-top wines and glasses for a €5 deposit, but you have to take it to the winery. If you start the tour in the east, you'll have a great intermediate destination!
