This route was planned by komoot.
We actually wanted to go hiking in the Alpstein today. Since I sprained my ankle yesterday and my colleague had to work half a day if necessary, we looked for a shady alternative. When we left the Burgwies tram stop at around 3:00 p.m., it was really hot. The ascent along the creek was mostly in the shade and you didn't notice the heat. From the Trichterhausenmühle we went mostly under the sun and on tar through Witikon. From the signpost Sagenraintobel / Elefant we went down rather steeply in the forest. This tour in the city of Zurich is ideal for hot days and you don't notice anything of the big city on the outskirts of which you are staying.
