With a bike around Lake Brienz very nice tour with a great view of the Brienzermeer
A challenging but very scenic hike. Lots of paved roads, but also lots of gravel and occasional stones. We used an e-bike; the 625 kWh battery wasn't enough to complete the trip. Charging is available at the tourist office in Brienz (just ask inside).
Family tour of Lake Brienz from Giessbachfälle. Superb day.😄👍✌
Super nice bike tour around Lake Brienz in Switzerland near Interlaken. On the round, suspension bridges can be crossed, waterfalls can be admired and various terrains can be navigated. The physical well-being is well taken care of, numerous localities around the lake invite you to linger. With the ebike it is a well manageable tour with a few meters in altitude and wonderful views. Without electro you should be in very good shape and plan about 2 hours more driving time.
The round trip began at the Hotel Giessbach. Downhill towards Brinz, then to Interlaken and back to the hotel is the better direction to drive around Lake Brienz.
Handbike with electric drive and mountain bike equipment.
Sun again today. So, I hopped on my bike and cycled clockwise around Lake Brienz. The south side was especially beautiful. Lovely villages (Iselwald is especially beautiful) and a very scenic route. We stopped in Interlaken with a view of the Jungfrau and returned along the north side with lots of gravel paths and two suspension bridges. We finished the day in a deckchair on the Brienz lake promenade with a quick swim. Back over the Bellenberg. A very beautiful, scenic, and varied loop around the turquoise Lake Brienz.
Unfortunately the weather wasn't so good today, but that didn't detract from the tour. As a result, there weren't that many people out and about. We enjoyed it.
