This route was planned by komoot.
The Bergisches Streifzug No. 1 runs from Radevormwald to Krebsöge. In between some paths and beautiful views. A larger section runs on concrete through industrial buildings, which are used very differently today. Since this is a long-distance hike, the return journey will (hopefully) be taken by bus 😀. Overall, an entertaining but beautiful tour 🏞🥾🌞😎
Happy New Year, everyone! 🍀🐷 Since I wasn't very keen on "working" with Komoot last year and eventually couldn't catch up on everything, hopefully that will be one of the things that changes in the new year 😊 Of course, I – or rather, Tanja and I – were out and about a lot and experienced and saw quite a lot.
I was actually supposed to complete the X-ray process today. But unfortunately that didn't fit with the other daily appointments🤷♂️ In order not to let the wonderful sunny weather go to waste, I started this year's second winter project today. The Bergisch forays. I find it an attractive idea to combine Bergisch history with hiking. The diversity of the forays speaks for itself. The excitement of the first foray was even greater. And it's a direct hit. Infotainment and a beautiful hiking route are cleverly combined. The excursion leaves it up to you how deeply you delve into the sights on offer. (Museum visit yes or no etc.) If all that doesn't interest you, you'll also have a pleasant hiking route ahead of you. The first foray completely convinced me and I'm looking forward to the next 24. But first I'll finish Mr. Röntgenweg, right
A very nice tour. Past the cloth and textile factory, then the last 5 kilometers along the Wupper River. At the bus stop, two very friendly and helpful cyclists picked us up back to Radevormwald. Not an everyday occurrence. 😊👍
The expeditions begin 🥾 #1 with storms, hail, lots of rain and a little bit of sunshine 😀
Starting point Radevormwald. Corso cinema parking lot.. Back with bus number 671, from Wupperdamm (Radevormwald town hall) The tour is worth it... History, cloth makers, etc. Nice paths, when it wasn't too wet... :)
https://www.bergisches-wanderland.de/bergische-streifzuege/alle-streifzuege/1-tuchmacherweg-radevormwald-104-km This foray is a distance hike. So I parked at the destination "Wanderparkplatz Niedernfeld" (near the Wupperstaumauer) and took the bus (671) from the Krebsöge bus stop to the starting point at the Radevormwald town hall.
