Did the tour for the first time, but not the last. Beautiful area! The dog had a lot of fun. 😊

The weather was getting better and better and so there had to be another lap around the Schierensee. Always a nice lap on wide, easy-to-run paths. The sun was shining, most of the leaves were still shining in the most beautiful green. But some trees already let the autumn colors shine. A wonderful autumn day was put to good use.

Basically a nice round, but the last third went along a narrow "road" (was more of a gravel forest path), where a car came along every one to two minutes. And the Monday lunchtime, when you think that nothing is going on there. Sometimes I didn't really know where to go with two dogs. There is also a forest path parallel to the road, which I would definitely choose next time. Or walk back along the shore of the Westensee. Otherwise, the paths were largely dry and firm, a big plus after the rain of the last few days. At the Schierensee itself and at the associated stream, there were two opportunities for the dogs to swim and have a drink. However, the second bathing area at Schierensee was on the said "road". We probably won't visit them again any time soon 😉.

For most it is probably a standard round - but for me it was the first time today: A circumnavigation of the small Schierensee. 😄 Since it's far too warm for Loki 🐶 at the moment for longer laps, I got up on my socks again today. 👟👟 I particularly liked the beautiful mixed forest. 🌳🌲 And of course the lake. 🌅 Likewise the colorful animal world: Today I ran into a heron, two woodpeckers flirting with each other - maybe they also quarreled, that's probably a matter of interpretation 😄 - and really countless mini frogs that were everywhere. 🦤🐦🐸 I could have done without the one trillion mosquitoes. 🦟😅 Incidentally, it's worth going off the path marked on Komoot here and there. So today's round finally felt like real hiking again. It went over stick and root... And with the bridge made of branches, it was important to keep your balance. 😆☝️
