If you are looking for an intensive nature experience, the Moor Route is the right choice for you, which starts in Oederquart. On the way to Hamelwörden, the route passes the historic Thingstätte "Schinkelplatz", a meeting place from the early Middle Ages.
Across the Hamelwördenermoor, the route goes along the third canal, where peat is still mined today and the Kehdinger Moor diploma is offered as a group experience. Other stops on the tour are the Wolfsbruchermoor and Dornbuschermoor. If you want, you can take a detour to the Heimathof Hüll in Gehrden. This 19th century farm has been largely preserved in its original state and can be visited by prior appointment.
The tour continues along the enchanted Rönndeich, also known as the German Crime Route, to the Oste. Here the historic suspension bridge connects the two sides of the river. This technical cultural monument has been recognized as an outstanding example of engineering. From the east, the tour leads through the vast moorland back to Oederquart.
Tip: If you want to extend the route a little, it is also worth taking a detour to the Aschhorner Moor and taking a ride on the Moorkieker.

Went with DB to Hemmoor and cycled a round tour in the best weather. Up to Oederquart church, super cycle paths and great nature. Those who love solitude are in the right place here.
Leaving Oederquart, the cycle path got worse but was passable at a slower pace. Then a longer gravel section and in Wischhafen after turning at …
