Running

This incredible circular route takes you through places such as the Teno rural park, the Cuevas Negras hamlet and the Monte del Agua, which will surprise you. The weather can vary greatly, so it is advisable to bring a windbreaker, snacks, enough water (you can refill at Erjos if necessary) and sunscreen. To this point, you have the option of arriving by car or on the 363 bus/guagua line.

The route begins in Los Silos, entering the Teno rural park through the PR 53, passing by the Cuevas Negras trail. Along five kilometers and 900 meters of ascent, you will overcome a challenging climb, ideal for trail runners. The hamlet that gives its name to the trail was inhabited by about 60 people dedicated to the countryside.

After the climb, get ready for an exciting descent through Las Moradas, where you can see abandoned houses before returning to the starting point. This final stretch features more technical terrain, with rocky areas that will challenge your skills.
