This route follows the Véloroute des Flandres, between heritage, nature and brewing traditions. It is perfectly suited to electric bikes, available for hire on site. We also suggest dividing it into two or three days - Accueil Vélo addresses are ready to welcome you on the road.
The start is in Armentières, before a first stop in Steenwerck, where the bike point allows you to make some adjustments. The Musée de la Vie Rurale presents the know-how and daily life of yesteryear.
The route continues towards Bailleul, with its Grand-Place, its UNESCO-listed belfry and its Benoît-De-Puydt museum. In Steenvoorde, the mills punctuate the landscape.
The arrival in Esquelbecq, served by the train, marks the end of the route. Remember to stop at the Brasserie Thiriez, renowned for its craft beers, and to discover its castle and gardens.
