In the afternoon, we headed to the famous Korouoma Gorge. Although these waterfalls are now more like trickles, I still found the many vibrant colors that autumn brings simply beautiful. 🥰
Hike in Korouma canyon, a popular local destination.
The gorge is lined with frozen waterfalls that are a real paradise for ice climbers.😯 The way down into the canyon is partly very icy and spikes are an advantage. But it also works without it 😅. There are fireplaces where you can warm up and rest (there is always plenty of firewood) and not far from the car park there is also a sweet little café where you can warm up with a hot chocolate. There are also delicious homemade cakes. 🤤
One should have spikes at this time of year. The hike is beautiful
