Once over the light blue Reuss, you are already on the way to the original Erstfeld valley. Curve after curve, you leave the altitude meters beneath you on the quiet valley road, while the Alpbach, which flows off the glacier, whizzes down next to you.
Asphalt up to the highest point of the tour allows you to make good progress despite some steep gradients and, thanks to simplified steering, you can always see the distance. After the cable car station at Wilerli, the terrain flattens out and the rapid descent begins.
On the single trail through the forest, your technical skills are required first. Here the path is narrow and sometimes rough, but the further down you go, the easier it becomes again. At the Reuss, you let it roll and drive back to Erstfeld.
