Ladder Through the Waterfall

After being dammed up in Lake Gamledammen, the Kjøsterudelva rushes violently through the gorge, creating a spectacular sight. The ladder in the middle of the waterfall adds to the sense of awe.

This popular swimming spot in the region, complete with a jetty and benches, is situated just above Dammen. It is an artificial lake, and the dam creates a stunning waterfall. In the middle lie two pretty islets connected by bridges.
