This route was planned by komoot.
Not too difficult a walk to the glacier. Not too hard hike towards the glacier.
Suggestion to start the tour before 10am or after 7pm as the cruise buses will be there in the meantime. Very full!!!
🙄… an absolute tourist glescher, but a really beautiful area 🏔👍 and all the better in the evening 😃
Even if all the tourists from the ship, from somewhere else and we were there, it was relaxed. We hiked, you could also have a part of the route driven. But then you would have seen many things only fleetingly. The weather was kind to us again today. 🍀🍀🍀 A great trip with an international audience.😉🙋🏻♀️
As part of our change of location today🚙 we drove along the lake Oldevatnet until we finally reached Briksdalen. From Briksdalsbre we started today's glacier hike🧊🥾. Parking fee at Wander🅿️ for the whole day: 75 NOK. The hiking trail, which is very well signposted throughout, goes steadily uphill ↗️ along the Kleivafossen river until you reach the lake 🏞 of the glacier after almost 3 km and approx. 200 HM. We were lucky enough to be almost alone in the suburbs. 👍🏻 We walked the signposted circular path, at the end of which we found a swing hanging from the tree. We had to try these and enjoy the view of the glacier. A highlight! On the way down to the starting point and a lot of people came towards us...😳 In total we counted 8❗️ coaches🚐🚐 when we arrived at the bottom. So it pays to be early for such spots!😎
Of course we also started from the parking lot, I just forgot to press Start on Komoot...🤦♂️
A dream. You can't photograph everything.
