This short, kid-friendly tour takes you to a very cozy place of hospitality: the Vilser Alp. The best, freshly tapped beer and a number of regional delicacies are waiting for you there. But the way there is guaranteed not boring. So you pass at the beginning of a quarry and crosses a few meters further up the Kühlbach, in the crossing of which you can hear the imposing Alpstrudelfall rushing and also catch a glimpse.

I have no idea what Komoot was doing with the elevation profile. Of course, we didn't hike up again 🤔 and the pictures are also mixed up 😵💫 No matter, it was great 😊
Small hike with crampons to the Vilser Alm. The climb was pretty tough for me today. Fasting day 6 and my muscles were really taking their toll 😅. So I only had herbal tea at the Alm - although the food looks really tasty 🥰. It's definitely a reason to come back. The tour is not recommended without crampons at the moment. Some of the forest paths are already very icy. Plus point: the parking is free
Today I went to the Vilser Alm for breakfast with my 9 great colleagues. The day was perfect, the breakfast was delicious and the atmosphere was simply happy and exuberant. The Vilser Alm with the new innkeepers is always worth a trip!

Beautiful little walk and mega delicious food! Today without a report... it's worth a visit! 🫶🏻

Short round from Vils to the Vilser Alm on the well-groomed winter path. Highly recommended at any time of the year and quick to do (like me before the late shift). The management on the Alm is also great. The path is also open for tobogganing and skiing, so be careful who comes around the corner quickly.
After a rainy week, it should finally clear up a bit and so I took the chance to run up the Vilser Alm one last time. Unfortunately, this will close its gastronomic section on October 23rd, 2022 for an indefinite period. The landlords Gabi and Sepp are leaving for various reasons - a new tenant is not yet in sight. So it went again from the parking lot in Vils in no time at all up the gravel road. Passing the quarry and the Alptrudel Falls, I set up the part in half an hour. The delicious Kässpatzen and Kaiserschmarren were served here one last time in the valley basin surrounded by the peaks of the Brentenjoch, Vilser Kegel and Große Schlicke. It's a shame - I've been here again and again in recent years because of the good accessibility and hospitality.

Komoot describes the tour as difficult, the only comment so far as child-friendly. What to make of it?????
