Highlight • Natural Monument

According to legend, the round holes were carved into the rock by the Hiids (evil spirits) so they could cook their porridge.

Scientists, however, believe they were formed during the melting process of the Ice Age, when the water masses set stones in a circular motion, which then ground depressions into the rock.
