Garda Trentino Xmas Trail

Today we present you the perfect trail for the autumn and winter season, starting and finishing in Torbole sul Garda. This panoramic loop passes through the villages of Riva, Tenno, Arco and Nago-Torbole, reaching the highest point near Monte Corno, from which an incredible view of the lake opens up.

The first part is a continuous game of climbs and descents: after the panoramic lakeside stretch, you climb from Riva towards Tenno, crossing suggestive landscapes, to then launch yourself into a spectacular descent through the olive groves and the narrow singletrack of the Rio Bordellino to Arco.

From Bolognano the most demanding challenge begins: a long climb takes you up to Monte Corno, the highest point of the trail. Here the path crosses an enchanted chestnut grove, before descending along a section equipped with parapets, which requires attention, especially if the ground is wet.

In Nago, a final sprint to the remains of Castel Penede, before launching into the last descent on the historic Santa Lucia road, a cobbled stretch that leads back to Torbole.

It's a technical, panoramic route that's perfect for keeping fit even in winter!
