Our second tour took us to Lindesnes Fyr, 🇳🇴's oldest lighthouse ⛴🔭🗼🔥. It is also the southernmost point of the Norwegian mainland. In the lighthouse itself, in some buildings and in the underground passages in the rock there is a small museum and an exhibition. It was very beautiful and worth it. 😊😊 Afterwards I went on a little tour around the peninsula in veeery strong winds but without rain. 😊
Beautiful hike. Always follow the blue markings. But be careful: it is definitely not an "easy" hike! You have to climb and there are slippery spots. Hiking boots are a must.
Adventurous climbing tour with a great view. You should be sure-footed.
An exceptional hike at Lindesnes Lighthouse, the southernmost tip of mainland Norway and only 2518 km from North Cape. The prospects are hard to beat. On the well-marked tours, however, there are a few climbing passages to be mastered. Sturdy shoes are required.
Great hike along or in front of Norway's southernmost lighthouse.
Even the approach on the coastal road 460 is a real spectacle, with little bays, colorful houses, Norway at its best. If the satnav recommends a small forest path to the Lindesnes Fyr lighthouse, you'd better resist the temptation, the signposted path via the 460 to Lindesnes Fyr is a little longer, but much nicer! From the large parking lot with charging facilities for the e-bike, it goes into the forest and immediately climbs steeply. The whole circuit is a constant up and down with a lot of climbing spots, but all of them are not difficult and safe. The path is well marked with lots of blue spots, and there are also several signposts with overview maps in between, so you can't get lost. In between, there are wonderful views of the sea and the lighthouse. Just before the end, the battery of the Garmin watch ran out, so the last part was not recorded. But as I said, you can't go wrong. At the finish, a small bakery with fresh bread awaits.
