With a cloudy sky but no rain, today's lap went from Going up the Astberg to the Blattlalm.. Tomorrow there will probably be sore muscles... Only a crisp up or down 🥴... There weren't really any level areas 🙈
Easy and promising hike. A highlight for children is definitely the great playground and the ponies on the Blattlalm.

This tour takes you from Going to the scenic reach Astberg and back to the village. From the Central hiking starting point at the Going information office hike to the church and then turn right into Söllnerweg No. 7. At the first path. wiser you turn between the houses right and stay on path no. 7. This leads You over the meadow and through the forest, past at the Hollenauer Kreuz snack bar until Astberg and to the Blattlalm. Here you follow that Path no. 9 / 9a around the Schwaiglerkogel, past at the Sonnenlift before going back over the Hollenauer Kreuz and the Lanzenweg No. 6 return leads to Going.
Finally, another absolute highlight hike! The ᗩՏTᗷᗴᖇᘜՏᗴᗴ is idyllically located on the Goinger Astberg. Here you have a wonderful view of the popular photo motif of the Wilder Kaiser, which is reflected in the lake. There you can unwind and gain new strength and energy through the peace and fresh mountain air. Whether a walk around the lake or simply sitting on a bench and listening to the sounds of nature, such as the chirping of birds. The Astbergsee is a perfect place for rest and relaxation. A breathtaking view awaits you at an altitude of around 1200m. On the other side you also have an impressive view, Kitzbüheler Horn, Großglockner, Hahnenkam,... I stopped at the Blattlalm at the top of the Astberg, then I went to the jezz Alm (formerly Brenner Alm) with the small chapel. From here I was able to enjoy the beautiful view over Ellmau, to the Rübezahl Alm, Hartkaiser,... where I had been the days before. Then I went a little further up and took the Sonnenlift back down to the Astbergsee and then took in the Kaiser view from the reservoir again. As it was slowly clouding over on one side, I then made my way down, and here I passed the Hollenauer Kreuz. The wind slowly got stronger and it got darker, then I went back over the village square in Going, got an ice cream 🍦 from the Kaiser ice cream factory and then went back to the house. A little later there was also a thunderstorm 🌩
A challenging route. There are many forest paths around the Astberg. The path down to Going is partly steep and has rough stones.
The tourist information says it's an easy tour. Ask me who sets the standard for the hikes: Luis Trenker or what??? In the meantime we were really panting!!! But finally made it! 👍🏻💪🏻🔝🏔 New hiking shoes broke in... 🥾 also great Please don't laugh, but we are rather inexperienced hikers! Heights become a challenge. 😊
