Sunnenseit'n Weg (Sunnyside Trail)

On the sunny side of the Stubai, you can enjoy fantastic views of the valley and test your courage on a suspension bridge. From Fulpmes, you'll float up on the Kreuzjochbahn cable car to the mid-station. You'll follow the treehouse path, which is interesting not only for young hikers. It's a steady, gentle climb and descent, with unforgettable panoramas opening up time and again. Passing the Pfurtschell farm (the sunny side of the Stubai has been farmed by farmers since the Middle Ages), you'll reach the suspension bridge: it spans 110 meters over the precipice.

Before you gather the courage to cross the suspension bridge, climb up to the Neustiftblick natural site, from where you'll enjoy a magnificent view of the bridge and Neustift. Once you've reached the other side, follow the Sunnenseit'n path down into the Bachertal valley. A worthwhile detour takes you to Kartnall, with two cozy places to stop for refreshments. You reach your destination in Neustift im Stubaital – take the bus back to the starting point in Fulpmes.
