Mountain biking

Crystal-clear water, evergreen conifers, gray peaks, and lush alpine meadows: After this tour, you'll definitely agree that Lake Seeben is one of the most beautiful mountain lakes in Tyrol. It's doable with or without an e-bike.

The bike ride begins at the valley station of the Ehrwalder Almbahn cable car, which is easily accessible by car or public transport. From there, the route climbs steeply up to the Ehrwalder Alm, the intermediate destination, where you can enjoy a snack before or after the mountain lake. The trail continues, partly rocky and gravelly, to the stunning Lake Seeben, where you can cool off.

From there, you can continue on foot to the Coburger Hütte and the equally beautiful Drachensee, or take a short detour to Lake Igelsee on the way down. You can recharge your e-bike battery at the mountain station.

Ehrwalder Alm Ascent

Highlight (Segment) • Climb

Small fitness program for the calves, but tarred up to the top and therefore completely mobile. And at the top, the view and a stop at the alpine pastures are rewarding. And there would also be a gondola if necessary... ;-)

Highlight • Mountain Hut

Super cozy alpine pasture with a great view of the surrounding mountains and you can also recharge your e-bike.

Lake Seebensee

Highlight • Lake

Crystal-clear, blue-green water. Mystical in the fog, kitsch in the bright sun. Seebensee is a dream. Tranquil yet spectacular at the same time. From the southern shore, a magnificent view with the Wetterstein and Zugspitze mountains in the background.

The path up to the Coburger Hut is too steep and impassable. Therefore, there's a bike parking area near the cable car for those who continue on foot to the hut and the Drachensee.
