Today, after a rest day in Jesolo-Lido, we continued on to Treviso. From Jesolo, a beautiful bike path runs along the Sile River to Treviso, passing, among other things, the Venetian Lagoon, where you can also see flamingos.
Spectacular Sunday tour from the sea of Jesolo to the splendid Treviso. The first part of the Sile greenway impeccable as views of the Venice lagoon and bars for cyclists along the way where you can refresh yourself. On Sundays it is very popular with cyclists but towards Treviso the mix of cyclists / runners / Sunday walkers makes it too too crowded, losing a bit of charm. Absolutely to do but during the week.
Today we continue along the Sile River: picturesque paths, cycling is fun here👍 We're amazed by the lagoon... it's impressive for us, especially when you "experience" it by bike. A wonderful break, just when you need it👌 Arrival in tranquil Jesolo😮 and thus at the sea🏖️😍😍😍
Spectacular ride from Lido di Jesolo to Treviso and back along a stretch of the Venetian lagoon to go up the Sile river along the E4 cycle path ... all wonderful
Knühl Bus Bike Tour: Cycling and Wellness Tour to Abano Terme: April 21, 2025 - April 27, 2025: Day 3: The GiraSile: from Treviso to Lido di Jesolo From the brochure: Day 3: The GiraSile: from Treviso to Lido di Jesolo (approx. 60 km) We first take the bus to Treviso and explore the beautiful old town with its winding waterways. We then begin our bike tour on the beautiful "Girasile" cycle path along the Sile River. The ride takes us through the Sile Regional Park, considered one of the most impressive and important nature parks in Veneto. We follow the historic, tree-lined Via d'Alzaia to Casier. After visiting Casier, we continue our bike ride to Porte Grandi and from there through the Venetian Lagoon to the sea at Lido di Jesolo. Return by bus to the hotel. Dinner.
Knühl bus bike trip: bike trip "from Brenner to Venice" - from the mountains to the sea: 07.09.24-14.09.24: 6th day: A: City tour of Trevisio and free time Breakfast at the "Spresiano" hotel in Spresiano Weather forecast not good for today. Bus trip to Treviso - 1-hour city tour in Treviso - 1/2 hour free time in Treviso - only occasional minimal drizzle - Komoot recording not started at the beginning of the tour. Bus ride to a parking lot Start of the bike tour: Fiera Casier Caberlotto Lughignano Casale sul Sile Quarto d'Altino Trepalade Bagaggiolo Cá Corner (break and milk orange tree/fruit, 3km after that the bike path was flooded) Caposile Jesolo Lido de Josilo The bike tour was dry up to Jesolo/Lido, although the weather forecast was much worse. Then we got a little shower just before the finish. On the bike tour we had a flat tire caused by a thorn, a partial clearing/crossing of a fallen tree, unfortunately a fall in a bend (but it turned out relatively well) and a trip through/running through water (wet shoes or barefoot). From the break in Cá Corner there was also a lot of wind and really bad clouds and heavy rain next to us. But the rain was next to us and not above us. Just a few drops now and then. It only started raining from Jesolo/Lido onwards. It was dry again when we arrived at the hotel. We parked our bikes in the basement of the Hotel Panorama in Lido di Jesolo, then it rained heavily for a while. We checked into our room Then we did a little tour of Jesolo with ice cream and a slice of pizza, followed by dinner together in a restaurant, then we did almost the same tour again with others. It was dry. Finished work. From the brochure: Day 6: The Girasile: from Trevisio to Lido di Jesolo (approx. 60 km) Today we cycle to the beautiful “Girasile” cycle path along the Sile river. Before that we take time to visit the beautiful old town of Trevisio with its branching waterways. The journey continues through the Sile Regional Park, which is considered one of the most impressive and important nature parks in Veneto. We follow the historic, tree-lined Via d'Alzaia to Casier. After visiting Casier, we continue by bike to Porte Grandi and from there through the Venetian lagoon to the sea at Lido di Jesolo. Dinner. Difficulty level: easy
Beautiful ride along the Sile with touring bikes. We largely followed the E 4 cycle path.
