Hiking
The goal of this hike is simple: reach the Fare waterfall. To reach it, several starting points are possible, lengthening or shortening the route. In this alternative, you start from a parking lot located in Enversin d'Oz.
The first part takes place in the woods, on a path that climbs to the hamlet of La Villette. Along the way, you cross the Fare River, which is now nothing more than a stream after its impressive waterfall, tumbling higher down the mountain. At the La Villette cable car, the landscape briefly opens up to the Grandes Rousses massif. Then you plunge back into the trees until you reach the waterfall. The view is splendid, both of the waterfall and of the valley and mountains.
The more adventurous may wish to tackle the via ferrata located in the same spot. In this case, be sure to bring the necessary equipment. Otherwise, take your time to admire this magnificent natural spectacle before turning back to the starting car park.
