'From lake to lake' – Lech loop 9 in Füssen

This wonderful hike begins at the impressive Lechfall waterfall near Füssen, where the turquoise Lech River rushes down with a powerful rush. From there, a picturesque path leads you through shady forests to the tranquil Obersee lake and further to the idyllically situated Alatsee lake with its emerald-green waters. Nature reveals itself here in all its diversity: tranquil waters, dense forests, and expansive views accompany the trail.

From Alatsee, the trail continues to Weissensee lake, whose shores invite you to pause for a moment, before the trail leads back to Füssen via the Hahnenkopfweg trail. The return route, with its scenic views at times, repeatedly offers impressive panoramas of the surrounding mountains and lakes.

This varied circular hike combines tranquil nature experiences with exciting changes in landscape and also offers the perfect opportunity to cool off and recharge along the way. The hike finally ends back at the Lechfall waterfall, which is a perfect starting and finishing point for this tour.
