Hiking
Experience an unforgettable hike in the Tannheimer Valley – "arguably the most beautiful high valley in Europe." Eleven stations await you on the way to the Neunerköpfle, where you'll learn about the nature, wildlife, and mountain landscape of the Alps. The starting point is the Neunerköpfle cable car station, which you can reach from Tannheim, among other places. From there, you'll set off on the nearly one-and-a-half-kilometer circular trail, which is packed with surprises: each panorama is more beautiful than the last.
And then there's the largest summit book in the Alps. It's three meters high and nearly two and a half meters wide on each side. Whether you're looking for something interesting about the origins of summit books or entertaining sayings from old entries – this book combines knowledge with experience. And of course, you can also get creative yourself. Write your own saying, make it unforgettable, and look forward to the magnificent view over the Tannheimer Valley – a moment full of wonder.

A great, short winter hike from the mountain station to the Neunerköpfle. There is simply a fantastic view here and you can also sign the largest summit book in the Alps. At the moment you can also see the hot air balloons flying through the valley as part of the International Balloon Festival. Warning: the path down from the Neunerköpfle is currently quite icy. It is best to only go with crampons, otherwise it is better to take the same path back because it is prepared.
The 9 adventure trail this time in the snow Circular hiking trail on the Neuner Köpfle with a detour to the summit and various stations
Part 2 of my stay in the Tannheim Valley today began with a ride up the Neunerköpfle cable car. For the torchlight hike, tickets were available from 4 pm for €15 for a round trip, including a torch. Upon reaching the mountain station, a long line of people wound its way up to the summit cross, where the sheer number of people obscured the view of the peak itself. So, one simply let one's gaze wander into the distance, across the Allgäu region, which lay shrouded in clouds, or as far as the Zugspitze, and enjoyed the sunset. From 5 pm onwards, a few stories about the valley were shared before, as darkness fell, the torches were lit and the hike along the circular winter trail began. However, the wind was quite fierce up here, causing the burning torches to hiss and whistle as if a dragon were chasing the flaming procession. 🏠 ... From the valley below, the villages glowed beautifully upwards, whether Haller on Lake Haldensee, or Zöblen and Schattwald in the other direction, or Tannheim and Grän at our feet. After an hour, we took the cable car back down into the valley in the darkness, the gondola trailing what looked like a string of glowworms. Well, perhaps not glowworms at all, but the subtle night lights of the other gondolas.
On the Neunerköpfle in the beautiful Tannheimer Hochtal there is a bit of luck on the "Glücksbänkle Tour", a summit cross with the largest summit book in the Alps, paragliding, the cow hairdresser and much more.
Before starting the journey home, we did one more lap. Great view and interesting to watch the paragliders. In the Alm at the mountain station, it is self-service and only cash payments. A bit inflexible.
Today we wanted to go to an evening event on the Neunerköpfle with the BRGZT card. We were probably too early; there was no one there except us. That's nice, too 😉. The path from the mountain station to the summit cross is currently closed due to a landslide. A replacement trail has been prepared. Note to self 😉: Up and down trip 15 euros Parking 5 euros
Dream day we used for skiing. But the winter tour on the Neunerköpfle is very nice and recommendable! Unfortunately recorded too late...didn't think it was worth it🫠
