This route was planned by komoot.
Starting from Bracchio, take the beautiful, challenging mule track, but with a constant gradient (ready-to-go, you climb for 2 km at 25%), which leads to the Vercio mountain pasture, with its Hermitage. You then climb the path that leads to the summit, with fairly challenging gradients, but at the summit the view of Lake Mergozzo and Lake Maggiore makes up for all the effort. Descent towards the Famtoli refuge, where I had lunch and recharged my batteries. Final nosedive to reach Bracchio again, unfortunately the path in the woods has worsened, at the beginning you almost have to guess it. Difference in altitude about 1000 meters.

To climb Faié, take the beautiful mule track that starts just above the church of Bracchio. Be careful, though, because the slopes are immediately challenging and never let up, with 1,000 meters of elevation gain in just a few kilometers. Once you reach Vercio, the route becomes a beautiful hiking trail that winds up to the pass and then to the ridges. You reach the summit, with views of Lake Maggiore, Lake Mergozzo, and Lake Orta. A short descent to the refuge, with a delicious lunch, and a slightly bumpy forest trail that leads back to Bracchio, completing the loop.
Amazing views, the last 150m D+ are felt, but are immediately forgotten once on top of Mount Faiè. Done on December 27, a hot day (I don't dare think of summer) and be careful of the leaves on the path, very slippery in some places.
