We start from the hikers' parking lot of the old Moarmüller mill. After a short climb we follow path 8 towards Hoferalpl. Through the forest, panoramic views of the Sciliar, the Volsegg viewpoint and the villages of Fié allo Sciliar, Umes and Presule we arrive at the alpine hut where we take a break. Following path 8, which takes us through a forest to a bridge with a view of the refreshing waterfall and we follow the signs for the "Caverna Migg". We arrive at the cave of the hermit Franz Migg, who lived here in the last century. Following path 8B we arrive at the Tuff Alp at the foot of the Sciliar. Wonderful alpine hut with a large terrace, with many animals, camels, horses, lamas, that roam on the meadow. We take the path in the direction of Fiè allo Sciliar we arrive at the Laghetti di Fiè. After a tour around two lakes and a break in the historic restaurant we take path 2 in the direction of Umes and return to the parking lot.
Today with wonderful weather, made a nice round from the Völser Weiher. Via the footpath up to the Tuffalm (the most beautiful alpine pasture in South Tyrol in 2007). Enjoyed a great view here and spotted the "alpine typical animals" (camels and alpacas) .... and then on to the Hoferalm. The hut is located above Völs with a great all-round view .. then there was a delicious lunch in the warm November sun ☀️. The way back then went along the forest path in the direction of Völs, past the Migg cave, which, however, could not be visited due to forestry work. So we went back to the parking lot at Völser Weiher via forest and footpaths.... Very nice round with 2 great huts...
