The starting point for the Laaser Herrensteig/Jakobsweg, one of the most beautiful hiking trails around Laas, is the marble village of Laas. From there, a slight climb towards the Laasertal takes you to the Herrensteig. A small detour up to the St. Martin Chapel is worthwhile, not least because of the wonderful view there. The Herrensteig/Jakobsweg leads over the former tracks of the cable car from the Laaser marble quarry and partly next to the toboggan run to the "Stinkabrunn" sulphur spring, past the Schgumser-Stübele wine tavern to Tschengls to Tschenglsburg. There are places that require a minimum level of surefootedness. The further route past the recently renovated Ottilia Chapel to Prad am Stilfser Joch and the path accompanying the Suldenbach to the Fischersee near the Spondinig train station are also scenically worthwhile.
