This route was planned by komoot.
Last day of our vacation a Valpelline. We go down from the Aosta refuge and meet many chamois on the plain below the refuge. We arrive at the Prarayer refuge and continue on the path that runs along the lake to the parking lot at the dam. From there a path goes up, after a few hairpin bends on the road, which leads to two beautiful lakes, the Lungo lake and the Morto lake. There would also be a third but the weather is changing and we go down quickly. It starts to rain but fortunately we are half an hour from the arrival and at the parking lot the sun comes out again. Nothing to do with the storms that then accompanied us to Bergamo with lots and lots of water. Beautiful Val d'Aosta and Valpelline, worth it!!!!
