Do you like badly paved and bumpy military roads and cows everywhere?!! Then this route is for you! Jokes aside, this tour is mostly on a paved military road which is definitely not my passion but an IMPORTANT testimony of the Cadorna line even if in my opinion not particularly emphasized. Unfortunately I took a NOPANORAMI day because of the fog and clouds ... WHAT A SHAME I went there for that!!! I will try again! In any case, definitely meadows and pastures as far as the eye can see, green as the predominant color together of course with the brown CACCADIMUCCA and all that comes with it, insects and flies as far as the eye can see 😁! But honestly it is not a problem for me! The peaks and refuges are beautiful except for the one in Boffalora which I would avoid due to the management, let's say a little slow and certainly original. I WILL RETURN! PS: FREE PARKING AND NO WATER. AT THE OSSUCCIO REFUGE THERE IS A FOUNTAIN AND THE OPPORTUNITY TO BUY DELICIOUS CHEESES!
Simple loop on the crests of the Larian mountains. There are no difficulties whatsoever or exposed passages. Only some very steep sections (in particular the climbs at the moment Lenna and Mount Galbiga. The path is not always marked, indeed, but the track is clearly visible and passing immediately above the driveway that leads to the Venini refuge, it is almost impossible to get lost. From the various peaks and in particular from Mount Crocione you can enjoy incredible views over the entire Alpine arc, over Lake Como, visible in all its extension from Crocione and over Lake Lugano. The only drawback is the return, on a driveway even if very little traffic. Possible in part to avoid it but all in all it is not worth it. Even from the driveway, the view is exceptional.
today's photonic day absolutely had to be exploited and so I left for Monte Tremezzo. wonderful trek with absurd views and accessible to anyone in all seasons!! look how lucky you are ;)
