This route was planned by komoot.
At the moment, mild spring breezes are still a long time coming and today's bike tour remained pictureless. But fortunately I still have two 'cans' from Franconia. Today comes the penultimate. Once again Bamberg from the beginning of October - because it was so beautiful. I apologize in advance - there were quite a few photos. I'll save on comments today for that. The first Bamberg visit took place in heavily overcast weather. The second, two days later, promised so-called 'better weather'. In fact, the day started out quite overcast, but as the day progressed the sunshine showed up more and more often. This tour started again at the multi-storey car park on Geyerswörthstraße and initially went up to the Michelsberg monastery (also simply called Michaelsberg), which is a former Benedictine abbey. On the first visit we left out this destination because it looked very much like a construction site - which was also confirmed. The Michelsberg is definitely worth seeing - from up there you also have a wonderful view over the city. After a stroll through the old town, which is well worth seeing, we went via the 'Green Market' in the pedestrian zone to the chain bridge on the right arm of the Regnitz and back. The moon-faced baking mold (Apfelweibla) was very original, the original of which only exists a few hundred meters away as a door knob. We also really liked the Stephanskirche Bamberg is really a city worth seeing. It still has plenty of potential for more visits. Here is the first tour: https://www.komoot.de/tour/588377430)
