Ila's Loop

Highlight (Segment) • Trail

This trail, named after local hiker Ila Aho, is a picturesque five-kilometre loop that climbs through beautiful boreal forest to the 150-metre Robertson Cliffs, overlooking the Goulais River Valley, with several side trails leading to waterfalls and quiet lookouts along the way. It’s a very scenic and rewarding hike, especially in autumn when the hardwood canopy explodes with colour.

In autumn, the cliffs become a front-row seat to a vibrant canopy of red and gold, making this an excellent place to pause and capture some memorable photos.
