This challenging circular tour starts at the train station in Haiger. It's ideal for those who enjoy climbing, don't mind short gravel sections, and are looking for plenty of nature and expansive views.
Right at the start, you'll face the longest climb of the tour. It takes you out of the valley and into the hilly terrain of the Hauberge hills. Beyond Weidelbach, the route becomes quieter, winding through forests and open areas before you reach the highest point of the tour at 505 meters after about 14 kilometers. The climb is steep in places, requiring a good level of fitness, but rewards you at the top with sweeping views across the impressive forest landscape.
Afterward, you'll continue via Ewersbach and Eschenburg to Frohnhausen. The route remains hilly and leads along quiet paths through idyllic valleys. After 40 kilometers, you'll be back in Haiger, where you can spend some time in the town center or cycle directly back to the train station.
