The Bucolic Loop offers an ideal route for slowing down and savoring the natural beauty of the countryside. True to its name, this route immerses you in a rural landscape of rolling hills, mixed forests, and farmland.
From Saint-Rémi-d'Amherst, the trail quickly leads to Lac de la Mine. You continue through a hilly environment to Huberdeau. Located on the banks of the Rivière Rouge, this small village is overlooked by a wayside cross that is well worth a visit.
A long section follows, taking you upstream along the river to Brébeuf. Along the way, enjoy numerous peaceful viewpoints overlooking the waterway. The final stretch, typical of the Laurentians, showcases characteristic landscapes with maple groves, clearings, and panoramic views of the surrounding hills.
