Actually today it should go towards Michelfeld / Ranna in the Pegnitzauen. Due to yesterday's weather conditions we changed our plans and decided to do another VGN tour. We slowly got a taste for it 😇😬🚆 "Orchard meadow tour on the edge of the Franconian hill" The edge of the eaves is the name given to the striking steep slope that stands out from the Windsheim Bay and thus marks a new stage in the south-west German layered level land. ("Again what learned" as Loddar Matthew used to say). Paths, meadows and forest paths lead over the centuries-old orchards - today soaking wet after the torrential rain, but accessible, but the traces of the flooding were unmistakable. We met the wandering shepherd and his herd briefly before we went on to the Prösselbuck. When I saw the swing in the tree, the foresight was a minor matter 😂 - "I'll be swinging" 😎 Shortly before Burgbernheim at the Teufelshäuschen we made a nice (very muddy) forest tour around the Schlossberg before we went to the train station in Burgbernheim. The cultural landscape in the Frankenhöhe Nature Park is definitely not called "Romantic Franconia" for nothing. It was nice 🥾 🌳 🍎 https://www.vgn.de/wandern/streuobstwiesentour/
