Lac-Beauchamp Park is a green oasis just steps from downtown Gatineau. This route was designed to cover the entire park, combining the various marked trails available. You can also choose to explore only a portion of it.
The starting point is the parking lot located by the water. From the very first moment, you're immersed in nature. Following Loop E, you'll first explore the eastern part of the park. Next comes the western section, then the northern part on the other side of the railway tracks. Stone formations, clearings, and ponds add variety to your walk, all along mostly natural trails. The park is ideal for recharging, whether by the water or among the trees.
Near the parking lot, an outdoor centre offers various activities depending on the season, with equipment rentals available. In addition to hiking, swimming, canoeing, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, and skating are all possible.
