A public park adjoins the beach, offering picnic areas and barbecue grills. However, parking is limited and strict restrictions apply. The beach is accessible by bus 379 from Bondi Junction station. Shaded by hills to the west, the beach tends to become cool, windy, and deserted towards the end of the afternoon.
