A few weeks ago when I was at Afton State Park I saw there were trails on the West side of the park that I hadn't seen before, and there were trails leading up to the road on the North end of the park. That's when I learned there was a parking lot up there. Today I went to park there and check out the trails. I wasn't expecting a dozen different cars in the parking lot, but it was a beautiful day. Nice to see a new 4.5 miles of trail in a park I have been to many times. Felt like a whole new place.
