Hiking
The Hora, located at 2,372 meters above sea level, is also affectionately called Höreli by the locals. A continuously marked mountain path leads you from Vals over Pradätsch „uf ünscha Hussbäärg“, where a spectacular valley view towards Vals and a wide summit panorama await you.
You start at the village square in Vals and hike uphill across lush alpine meadows until you reach Pradätsch. A short refreshment break is recommended here, as the view of the Tödikette and the Val Lumnezia is particularly impressive.
With the peaks of the Adula massif in sight, you continue hiking until the bizarre rocks of the Hora come into view. Once at the summit, the summit cross marks the turning point of your hike.
The descent follows the same route until you arrive back in Vals, where a cozy inn concludes the hiking day.
