Pond on the Centennial Trail

It's hard to imagine that the waters of this little oblong pond eventually, and lazily, make their way into Lake Superior almost 500 kilometres away. You get a great view of the mirrored pines and water lilies from the trail.

The Centennial Trail splits three ways here. North takes you to Highway 44; the other two paths explore further into a network of peaceful marshes and lakes that the Centennial Trail tours as it parallels the main highway.

Hansons Creek Bridge

This red arched bridge leads you across the creek by a small pond to a viewpoint of Hansons Creek. Keep an eye out on the west side of the bridge for a short spur trail that leads to a waterfall.
